The preservation experts at Digital Eclipse have today lifted the lid on the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection for the Switch, Switch 2 and multiple other platforms. Yes, fighting game fans are finally getting a new collection in this brutal and bloody series, and it’s arriving this year.

Digital Eclipse (also known for its work on Tetris Forever and Atari 50) will bring together all the “essential games” from Mortal Kombat’s earlier years into one package. There’ll be “over 20 different versions of legendary games” to begin with. Here are the titles confirmed so far – covering everything from the arcade, SNES generation to Game Boy Advance iterations:
